Cuts have been made on both sides of the boonie for the accommodation of over the ear hearing protection without compromising the sun blocking attributes of the boonie.
Loop patch on the back of the boonie for identification.
The head/chin strap has been replaced with shock cord which can be easily removed and reattached based off of your needs. It is also used to change the size of the boonie for a tight or loose fit.
